Client profile:
Suguri Fumie
Lived her early age in Anchorage, Alaska, U.S.A. and becomes familiar with winter sports.
She starts figure skating at age 6 once returning to Japan, and in 1992 participates in the All-Japan Junior Championships for the first time.
By 1994, she makes her international debut at the Gardena Spring Trophy.
In 1997, at only age 16 she scores gold at the All-Japan Figure Skating Championships.
Since, she holds an amazing record, including 5 time winner at the All-Japan Championships, places top five consecutively at the Winter Olympics (Salt Lake 2002, Turin 2006), the first Japanese player to win the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, 3 time gold winner at the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 3 time medal winner and 9 time participant at the International Championships, and lastly among the 31 she participated she has won a medal at 11 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating competitions.
In November of 2014, she retires after her 28 year life as a competing athlete. Currently she actively works as a pro figure skater and choreographer to nurture the skaters of the next generation.
